Dear Dragon friends,
The detailed plans for the Dragon Gold Cup 2019 (8- 14 June in Medemblik, Netherlands) will be presented at the IDA AGM 27 October in London. After the IDA AGM meeting we aim to finalize the Notice of Race.
On November 1st we will start registrating the entries via the DGC 2019 website.
We have been advised that a substantial number of teams have already booked their required accommodation for the DGC 2019 Event.
One should also be aware that the weekend of 8-10 June is a ‘Bank Holiday’ weekend in Europe. So we can expect many tourists to visit Amsterdam, Volendam and Alkmaar, thus adding additional requests for accomodation in the region.
Therefore we advise all teams who intend to join the 75th Dragon Gold Cup Event to book their accommodation as soon as possible.
Hotel Medemblik is already fully booked, but there are good hotels, bungalowparks and B&B in Medemblik or close by.
We have negociated a special price with the following hotels in case you book before November 1st.
International Hotel Van der Valk at Hoorn
