on the occasion of the 75^th anniversary in St. Tropez 2004, more than 40 classic dragons took part. For all participants it was an unforgettable event. Richard Green, the former British classic dragon coordinator, who sadly died, was very much looking forward to the next jubilee event. That inspired some classic dragon friends, to organize the 80^th anniversary in Ascona 2009. The intention is to have a really international festival celebrating the beautiful old boats.
