With hardly any snow and ice during the Dutch 2018 / 2019 winter and a first try out of a Winterserie for the ‘die hards’ sailing from Muiden, the name of the first serie of the year ‘Sneeuwruimen’ (Clearing the decks) is hardly applicable. Some of the teams even had a good training in Muiden, coached by Stavros and sponsored by one of the new members of the Muiden fleet who owns a shining bright restored wooden Dragon. Thank you Christian and Susanna !
The presence of a ‘High’ over the North Sea will promise light airs at Westeinder Lake, however the polar air flow will be a bit fresh.
18 Dragons will join the first serie on 30 and 31 March. Among them our German friends Axel Engstfeldt, Hans Bähr and Gerd Muller von Isem, the Belgian Dragon president Alex Helsen and our Estonian friend Dmitri Bodarenko.
The Aalsmeer Grade 2 Event will continue during the following weekends:
6 – 7 April WVA Aalsmeer
20 – 21 – 22 April WVA Aalsmeer
4 – 5 May GP Stad Enkhuizen from the RNLYC Muiden
18 – 19 May second serie GP Stad Enkhuizen from Muiden (combi Regenbogen)
25 – 26 May final serie GP Stad Enkhuizen from Muiden (combi Solings)
